The Feed a Child for Christmas (FACC) Project
Goal
The goal was to provide food items to orphans and vulnerable children in Awode and Ajegunle communities in Lagos State Nigeria.
Purpose
The purpose of the project was to ensure the orphans and vulnerable children have decent meals on Christmas Day.
Items Distributed Per Child
- One bag 5kg Rice
- One litter Vegetable Oil
- One pack (25 cubes) of Chicken flavor Seasoning
- Five sachets of Gino Tomatoes Paste
The project team worked with the local community head called the Baale and his cabinet members to identify the orphans and vulnerable children and their caregivers in the communities. A cabinet member, Chief Samson helped the project team in organizing the children and ensured each child received food items that would enable them have a good meal on Christmas Day.
Orphans and vulnerable children and their caregivers was so excited to receive some food items during the Feed a Child for Christmas Project in Awode and Ajegunle communities. The project catered for about a hundred children.
